MFT Funky Flowers Blog Hop

If you're just joining the blog hop at my site and would like to see the whole thing, then take a big jump back to Kim's blog for the starting point.
The first card is a bit unsual for me because it's simple layout and white cardbase, but I love it!! I used the ribbon frame technique which was this weeks Monday challenge on SCS and matched up the ribbons to the rainbow. I love the sentiment, which I'm sure I'll be using quite a bit for my SIL who is a teacher as well as many friends who also are.

The second card was for the color challenge on SCS which featured kraft cardstock. I love using kraft... and especially love using white gel pen on it. It just POPS! I colored the daisy's with the gel pen and added a little copic marker to the centers. This is such a pretty set for any occasion.

For the last card I used paper from Pink Paislee and paper pieced the flowers with 3 different papers. I added adhesive rhinestones for the centers for a little bling. I love this color combo.... springy, yet mellow feeling! Now I'll send you on to Amy's Blog Pickled Paper Designs - I'm sure she has something amazing to show you!

Michelle...I can't even tell you how much I love ALL of these card designs!!! You have really thought outside the box...well the boxes I had in my mind as I got the sets together. I just can't be more impressed!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE..ALL OF THEM!!!! OK..well maybe I like the second one the best!!! I really like the white petals and I the little highlights you put on the red petals!!!! This card has a very RICH look and is COMPLETELY NOT what I had in mind when I was thinking of card designs for the set myself...so that makes me love it even more!!!!

O...M...G! Love them all, but the first card with the ribbon is just amazing. I've lately started hoarding cute ribbons with no real clue how to use them. I'll have to check out the SCS challenge and try one out. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Michelle - I know this is an older post, but I luv your white daisy card, and I was wondering where you got the zig-zag border stamp?

Peace and Luv,
