Altered Notebook Challenge - Notebook #3

For the next week I'll be posting different altered notebooks as I try to turn my stack of plain notebooks giftable goodies. Check out the original post for info on how you can join in the challenge
This notbook is a simple, sprial one found in the stationary section of the store. I think I bought a bunch at 2/$1.00. I remove the spiral from the top but bending one end straight then unscrewing it (for a lack of better description) from the punched holes.

I used paper from Pink Paislee for the decoration. The base layer is scraps left over from "Engaging" with a layer of "Rugged". The pretty die cut paper is "Confident". I really like cutting corners and from this die cut sheet to use randomly on my projects rather than using the whole sheet.

For my stamping and embellishemnts I used an image from the Pink Paislee "Vintage Pop" set which has some fun, random image for kid releated projects. The skull was stamped on kraft paper, then highlighted with white gel pen accents and gold "Smooch" metallic paint. I also added a rhinestone brad from the fun "Captivating" decorative brad collection. The round sticker and the decorative trim along the top of the notebook and below the skull are all from the Fetching Accessory Book. I love the added ease that stickers add to a project, just slap them on and you're all set.

Now lets see what you can do with a plain notebook! Add your link to the Mr. Linky widget on THIS POST and you'll be entered to win. Let me know what you think of this one as well. Thanks for reading!
