Flower Shaped Birthday Card

I went shopping at Michaels on Monday and had so much fun buying new products! I rarely buy anything there because I'm usually not super impressed with their selection... but this time I struck gold! They had a delicious display of Making Memories paper and embellishments called "Chloe's Closet" which looked so spring-like I couldn't resist! There was a 6x6 paper pad with 36 sheets (12 different patterns) and an embellishment pack with a whole bunch of paper flowers (Prima-like) and a big bag of 200+ buttons. Both of these were on sale so I picked and just love 'em!

I also found chipboard mini albums in the $1 section of the store from Colobok. I used one of the chipboard layers for the card base here and will probably save the other 4 for an album. I stamped the flowers from on different patterns of paper (6 different sheets of paper from the pack were used!) and used the buttons for the centers. The flap is score 1/2" from the top and glued down with Scor-tape. I used a variety of ribbons for the top embellishment.

Supplies:

Making Memories "Chloe's Closet" 6x6 Paper Pad (Michaels)

Colorbok chipboard album (Michaels)

Making Memories Button & Flower Embellishment pack (Michaels)

Flower Stamps - Autumn Leaves

Sentiment - Michaels $1 bin

Black gel pen for stitiching & assorted ribbon

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!
