Created for today's Way To Use It challenge on SCS which was to use pearls. I have lots of pearly options in my stash and tried to put most of them on this card!I used paper from October Afternoon called County Library. It is a double sided paper and I used both the dotted side and the strips on the opposite side for the accents. This paper is on sale this week too!! I paired the paper with black, vanilla (PTI) and Aqua Mist (PTI) cardstock.
The flower was made with SU Pick a Petal. I stamped the petals on vanilla cardstock, painted it was a champagne color pearlescent watercolor paint, then embossed it with swiss dots cuttlebug folder. The flower center was made with a scrap of the dp and highlighted with ranger liquid pearls. The flower was placed on a spellbinder matte of various sized ovals.
When you untie the bow it opens up to show the entire 4.25" x 11" inside. I used the center panel for my Happy Birthday sentiment.
To make this card start with a 4.25 x 11" sheet of cardstock. Score at 2" and 5.5" along the long side then fold. I really like this style because it utilizes the entire length of the card.

BRILLIANT!
Beautiful card, Michelle. I love the colour combination. And the paper is yum - the leaves remind me of Orla Kiely's fabric designs.
