American Art Stamp DT Call

American Art Stamp just released the new Valentines Day and Easter Images over the weekend and I gotta say... they are GREAT! I know that V-day and Easter seem a long way off when we still have Thanksgiving and Christmas to deal with. But many of these stamps can work for other holidays and occasions too.
For this card I used the new Love Birds stamp for the main image. It was stamped on kraft cardstock, then colored with Copic markers. The white gel pen adds just the right amount of highlight to make the flowers and bird wings "pop". I used my new Nesties for the oval (how did I go so long without them??) and Scenic Route paper for the background layer. The sentiment is from one of the American Art Stamp Xmas sets called Ornaments.

Since the AAS design team just turned 6 months old it's time for one of our designers to move on to other things, but that leaves a spot for a new designer! Wanna be part of the American Art Stamp team? Take a peek at my post on the AAS Blog, it gives you all the details on how to apply.

If you like this image then leave me a comment here. I'm getting some blog candy together... it'll include some 6x6 paper from the store, ribbon, embellishments, stamps and who knows what else! Let me know what you think about the new stamp line, my card and the design team call.

Thanks for stopping by.

I love your card! I think the white really does add to the birds and the flowers. So cute. I have to admit I JUST got some Nesties and I haven't yet made a card yet with them (just kinda played with them) but they are so fun! I am not good enough to "try out" for your team but I sure do enjoy visiting with you on your blog and you always have so many fun ideas and you are always so generous!!

What a sweet image. As always I just love the colours you pick... Michelle, you're just so fresh. You remind me of fruit and vegetables... in the most complimentary way! (I love my veggies!)

As for the design team call, I'm Australian, don't quite fit the branding, nor the talent :/

That love bird image is just gorgeous! I can totally see that it could be used for other holidays/occasions. Love the new line. Would love to try out for the DT opening, but don't have a blog. Is that a requirement? I have a Papercraft Planet page - does that count? hehehe Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy!
