Pink Flowers
Out of all my SU sets, I think Mixed Bouquet has to be #2 after Artfully Asian. I have used this set for so many projects.... this flower especially! This card was made for the ways to use it challenge on SCS - the challenge was to use StazOn ink. I haven't used my stazon much lately because I'm so in love with Versafine... but it does have it's advantages... especially how QUICKLY it dries!
For this card I stamped the flowers and leaves in black ink, then colored them with my new Copics. I used 3 colors of pink for the shading on the flower and 2 colors of ink for the leaves. I added cotton candy colored stickles on the flowers... and for a change you can actually SEE the glitter in the photo!!
I've been reading alot of posts on SCS about the trendy supplies that are out there and alot of them are big ticket items! I'm trying to come up with a list of smaller items that have caught my attention in 2007. I would say anything under $10.00 would qualify. Leave a comment with one new item you've fallen for in 2007 that costs under $10.00 - I'll compile the list in a couple days. I'll start with a few of my favorites:
1. Stickles ($1.89)
2. Rub Ons ($2.00-$5.00)
3. Basic Grey 6x6 pads $5.99 (or any "small" paper pads)
4. K&Company Mat Pads ($3.99)
5. Versafine Onyx Black ($7.00)
6. DCWV Textured white core cardstock ($5.00 for the small packs)
7. Glimmer Mist ($8.00)
8. Liquid Pearls
9. self-adhesive rhinestones
10. Stardust Gel Pens (or Copic Spica)
11. Jumbo eyelets
12. Dew Drops
13. Tack 'n' Peel" from Tsukineko (haven't tried this yet)
14. Edge Distressors (all brands)
15. Glue Pen
16. Glue Pads
17. CHF Backgrounders
18. MFT Mini Sets
19. PTI White Cardstock
20. Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner (all I use now!)
I'm adding to the list as I read the comments and trying to weed out the favorites that have been around for a few years... I know there is more stuff out there that is new and fabulous in 2007!

I am definitly a stickles fanatic. Almost all of my cards have that little added stickles BLING!
This card is gorgeous - that's one of my favorite sets too! As for supplies, I think you hit all of my favorites! I *heart* stickles!!
Beautiful card! Stickles and the Tonic Paper Distressor are my 2 budget faves!
I haven't tried any yet, but Glimmer Mist has caught my eye. I think they are around $8 each.
Your card is gorgeous!
My new fave item(which may not be new to most people) is Liquid Pearls. Love the look of them on a card!! Think I paid about $4 here in Canada for a bottle.
This is beautiful! Gotta love my ribbon and Glimmer Mist!
The Quickie Glue Pen from Sakura. So nice to have a line of glue as thin as a pen line! And they're only about $3!
I think I need to pick up some Stickles. . .I love me some glitter on a card!
Stickles, and liquid pearls have to be tied for number one I love those!! OOO, and the watercolor brush I found. It was at an Art store, I don't know what brand, but man it's the nicest brush I have ever owned. One more things.... Amuse stamps. I always find them under $10. They are all so cute.
Beautiful card! I never did get that set, but your creation makes me wish I had!!
As for favorites, self-adhesive rhinestones and stickles are my two small-ticket items this year that I just couldn't live without!
Stardust Gel Pens and mini brads. I love them both!!
Oh yes, Versa Fine is a must have and so are stickles. I love bling of all kinds; jumbo eyelets are especially fun ... oh and those fabric covered jumbo brads too.
Dew Drops - This card is so elegant! LOVE IT!
My favorite new find is "Tack 'n' Peel" from Tsukineko. I leave all of my rubber unmounted, and I have this on all of my acrylic blocks, so I can easily mount/unmount them. Wonderful! Plus, I found it for $9.95 at JoAnn's and used a 40% off coupon - what a bargain!
This is a stunning card...I love the bright colors and the glitter! I would have to say my new favorite tool would have to be the Edge Distresser by Close to My Heart. There are other similar products out there (I think I have them all...lol) but this handy gadget is ready to go whichever way you pick it up - being that it has a circular blade and format. The others I have tried don't have a sharp blade and the one by CTMH is awesome! Loving distressing my edges with this beauty of a little tool for a little price of $1.95 Cdn!!!!
Stickles, for sure, and self-adhesive rhinestones (I got mine from Close to my Heart). I also loved my Christmas paper from Basic Grey (I bought several sheets from the Figgy Pudding line for $1 apiece).
I just love your cards! I always click on them so that I can really see all the detail you put into them. You're so good at the little details and that's what makes your cards so fantastic.
My absolute favorite is the Stardust glitter pen. I use it on almost every card. I love the Quickie glue pen, I use it alot. Self stick rhinestones are great too.
What a beautiful stricking card...really eye catching! the coloring is really great!
Oh, and I really like Stickles!
Believe it or not -- an exacto knife. I finally got around to using one on a project and now you can't get it out of my hand.
My favorite items that I got this year are Flourishes Satin Ribbon 5 yards for $4.50 and Their Fabriano Cards 10 cards and envelopes for $6.00. A must visit at www.flourishes.org Your card is stunning, as usual :)
My new fave is the self-adhesive rhinestones! love em, love em, love em!!!!
I have my first order of liquid pearls and dew drops arriving next week, so I guess I have to save those for NEXT year's list, huh?!?! :)
my forever fave is the white gel pen. couldn't live without that in my stamping room. and my distressing tool. but those have been around for several years, and will be for a long time to come!!!
That is probably my favorite flower set! Beautiful card!! I would have to say my favorites under $10 would be Elmers Glitter Glue (was using it before stickles came around) and Swarovski Flat Back Crystals (bling). Prima flowers were a huge thing for a while as well ~ that was this year right?! How quickly time passes!

copic spica glitter pens! I think they're $2.75 or so at Ellen Hudson's store
And anything at Archiver's $1.99 spot or Target's $1 spot! Lots of fun alterables.
Here's my list:
1. Basic Grey 6x6 pads
2. any other brand 6x6 pad or 8x8 pad
3. Stickles!
4. Rhinestone Gems
5. The Essential Glue Pad
6. Spica Glitter pens
Thanks!
Judy
Would have to say Dew Drops !!
One of the best is SU mat pack. It's so versatile. I LOVE it!
Beautiful card. LoriE.
This is just gorgeous! The shading is beautiful. I think you've already mastered your Copics! I'm not sure I can add to your list. You and your readers have already named all my new faves. One thing--Cornish Heritage Farms Backgrounders, unmounted with the cling back for using with acrylic blocks are only $8.99. Lots of new designs this year.
My faves of 2007
1. stickles
2. Tulip puffy paint
3. PTI white cs!!!!!!!!!! Love it!
This card is just beautiful (and so are the rest of your cards). My favorite new item(at least it was new to me) were the cuttlebug folders. I use them all the time if I can. Happy New Year!
One of my faves are the Little Sizzles pads of background papers by Sizzix. They're 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 and sell for around $5 or $6. I also use my stickles often, especially for snow scenes!
Michelle, love the cuttlebug folder mini's...and I seem to paper pierce on everything, so I would have to say a piercer of some sort. Also love doing faux cloisonne, so have to have my versamark and embossing powder.
Great survey!

Hi: I have purchased a lot of small items and I have seen growth in my small scrapping area. I do have to say that High Hopes Stamps are my favourite. I order them unmounted so they are inexpensive to ship and easy to store. Love them, Love them, Love them. So cute.

Stick and Peel Pearls!! I love these.
barb
i love the white unibal signo gel pen! they are about $5-ish and well worth the money!!!
Ooh, I'm not sure how new they are, but I discovered piercing templates and LOVE them! I found a few at Ellen Hutson's store for around $6.
