I love getting together with friends to stamp and have fun together. It's also fun to have "alone time" and use my stamping time to just relax and put my enjoyment of life on paper.

That's a two folded answer for that question. For me I do papercrafts because it gives me a creative outlet so I don't feel so stifled by the day to day business of life. And more importantly for me is that it gives me an oppurtunity to give back. From cards for troops, nursing homes, vet hospitals, cancer patients, and family & friends; to sharing supplies and what I enjoy doing with others in my community.
Thanks for offering up such lovely blog candy.

Stamping is my sanity!!! LOL! I love that its something I can do w/my kids and that my Mom and I share this hobby. I love the feeling of giving someone something that I took the time to make and seeing the appreciation of that in their face!

Stamping is my creative outlet. I've always loved cultivating my eye for design and challenging myself to learn new techniques. The community of stampers and paper-crafters gives me so much opportunity to grow in my creative expression, I love it!

I love stamping because it's such a great reason to collect paper, inks and beautiful stamps! And yes, I do use them for card-making as well as just admiring it all!

Before I was introduced to rubber stamping, I would often feel the need to be creative. But I am NOT artistically talented, so I had no outlet. Now I can be creative and feel I've made something beautiful, when the hard part was already done for me.

I'm new to stamping, but I love being inspired by all of the creative people I've found on the web (like you!) It's truly amazing to see all your beautiful creations...I wish I could be half as creative as you!

Stamping is definitely my creative outlet and de-stress-er. Living overseas, being in ministry, having 4 kids...definitely wears on me...! it's great to be able to have something that's Mine, and a hobby where I can create something beautiful that will also encourage someone else.

That's easy- they provide a hands-on outlet for my creative side. And my husband doesn't mind the time and money too much because he likes the end results

Art class was always one of my favorite HS subjects and when I graduated I started missing it. Cardmaking & scrapbooking became an interest soon after, & has fulfilled that empty place that was missing in my life.

Being creative keeps me from going crazy, and rubberstamping is a fun way to be creative. I also enjoy the fact that it's something I can do with my daughter.

I have scrapbooked for a long time but often was in a slump - since I've started stamping and cardmaking, I always have some new idea going through my mind. I also used to love coloring - so this is my adult excuse to color.

I love to rubberstamp and make cards as I get to create my own unique card to send out. It gives me the opportunity to send a special greeting created by my own hands!

Hi! Why do I love it so??? Well, it's an outlet for when I have a HARD day as a SAHM and pet sitter... like today when my 4yr old decided to stick some popcorn kernels up her nose. I'd expect this from my 18 mon old boy but not HER! Luckily I was able to get them outta htere.!!

Well of course I love all the product and great tools ... and especially the PAPERS {yum}! Creating with my hands makes me happy inside out - it's therapy for me! And yet best of all is all the great women I've met in this creative card making and scrapbooking world.

For me stamping allows what creativty I have to show me I am gaining more creativity. Make any sense? My mother and 5 sistes all stamp, so it is an amazing craft to share with them, even though it is long distance. We send birthday cards to all our extended family and they love it! And, it is the most fun to share with my grandchildren who all ask to stamp and make cards for friends or their parents.....that's really fun to share with them!

I love it because it relaxes me and I love creating little "works of art" that are meant simply to bring joy to someone else!

Why I love cardmaking...
SALES!

I just found frugalities, and today's discount is 48%!
Need I say more :)

First of all, I really like your cards!

I have tried several different crafts, and have a lot of partially used supplies as evidence. Then I discovered stamping. It makes me feel artistic, though I am not. Besides that, when I complete a project, I can give it to someone who appreciates it.

I love to have a portable craft, when we head out in the camper, i pack a rubbermaid bin just in case the weather is not soo good. This is also a hobby i can do where i can visit at the same time, my sister and i can chat for hours and have a wonderful pack of cards done in the end. I love carding!!

I like to stamp and make cards because it is creative yet quick. I don't have a lot of time, so it fills my need to create. I like to share my creations too!

I love papercrafting/stamping because it's my relaxation. I love creating! It's great because I have a blast doing it, and it usually puts a smile on the recipient too. How great is that!?!

I love card making because it is a way to add your personality to a card that you send someone. It also says I didn't just run out and buy this at the last minute but instead created something just for you. Also because it gives me a creative outlet.

Card making and stamping...therapy. It's the one activity I can immerse my myself in and forget the world around me.

I have loved crafts since I was a child, and stamping is one of the newer ones for me. I teach arts and crafts in the summertime, and stamping is always on the agenda! I love to look at what other people have made, too; I think it makes me more creative.

I enjoy crafts of all types, but with rubber stamping I feel like I can actually accomplish something with my limited time and hectic schedule, as mom of four! That in itself makes me feel good!

I like the dots! Nice colors!

Karen Lindsay said...

I love dots too and your card is wonderful. I love stamping because there are so many ways you can use them, so many ways to color the images and we have such fun papers and embellishments to play with! I also love giving a card to someone special because the card is a gift in itself. :)

I love the creative aspect, seeing something I came up with is very fulfilling. I work in the jail and somedays I hear and see more bad stuff than I care to - this gives me a chance to capture something beautiful at the end of the day.

I love that it's a hobby that I can share by doing what I like to do AND THEN passing that goody along to someone else to enjoy! I LOVE making stuff for my kids classrooms and teachers...it feels so good to pass it on to someone. Loved the card you posted today btw... so cheery!

Well let's see, I loved to do crafts since I was a little girl. I work in a scrapbook store and am so lucky to go to work doing what I love. I love that you can make beautiful handmade creations in a short time and share them with friends and family. And all the scrapbooking will be appreciated in generations to come. I Love leaving my mark that way.I also have to say I love your color combination in all you do. You have a great blog.
