CHALLENGE: Hot & Cold

This card was made for 7 Kids College Fund challenge "Hot & Cold".... choose either one! I choose hot and used one of my favorite images from Inkadinkdo's Birthday Cupcake set.  I go to this set all the time for quick and easy birthday cards... who can resist a cupcake? The 'cakes themselves were colored with copic markers, then I added Stickles to the frosting and the flames (the hot part of the card) for a little extra bling.

This card was made for a friend of mine at work, and she's a tough little cookie, so I wanted it to be a studded black theme.  The butterfly paper from Basic Grey's Ambrosia line was the perfect backdrop for this color theme.  The silver dew drops work perfect with plain black paper to create a studded effect.

Wanna check out the challenge?  Head over to the 7KCF Challenge blog and take a peek.  The prize for anyone interested is a $20.00 GC for the new Belles & Whistles preorder images from 7 Kids College Fund.  Can't beat that!
