Pick a Favorite, Win a RAK

I'm still been slacking off with my blog posts this week, so I figured I quickly show what I've been up to for the past few days....

This above images is from the SCS challenge WT207 "Frugal Finds" on Thursday. I covered a tin from Arizona Ice Tea with paper from the new Basic Grey Porcelain 12x12 pack from Paper Addiction. I love the zig-zag stripe on this paper and of course the pretty, spring colors in the line. Since my daughters are always looking for quick birthday presents for their friends I added a little Happy Birthday tag to the container. I think it'll be perfect to fill with chocolate, candies, or cookies.

This card is a one-layer card that I made for the Crafty Secret's challenge this week on SCS. I hardly ever make one layer cards, but this one is a bit different from the normal because I used double sided dp for the card base. I raided my stash of stuff that never gets used and found a vintage looking sticker from Melissa Frances to use. I stamped flourishes and scallops from the Crafty Secrets Cherub set. The flower is a retired lace prima collection - my stash is almost out!!

The Poppy card was made for SCS limited supply challenge and Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. The challenge was to use vellum - so I stamped the poppies on vellum, and colored them in with copic markers. Then attached the vellum layer with the stamping and colorin on the reverse, so the image shows through with a slightly muted look. The bottom of the image was punched with my threading water punch from Fiskars (one of my favorite all time punches).

The last project to show was made today for the Inspiration challenge. I love this challenge because you can do anything that the image inspires! I used a stamp set from Gina K for the main image and sentiments. The flowers are stickers from K&Company which I've had in my stash forever so I finally used up the rest of the package on this card. I acutally CASED this layout from a card on page 47 of the new Papercrafts Stamp It magazine... I hardly ever CASE!

Now the challenge for YOU! Pick which of these cards/projects is your favorite and leave it in a comment for me. You'll be entered to win one of these cards as my Blogcandy/RAK for the week. Double you're chances of winning if you participated in any of these challenges and want to leave a link to your challenge card using Mr. Linky gadget here....

I just love that little linky gadget! It gives me the excuse to visit the blog and galleries of the people that read my blog and are fellow challenge addicts like me! Thanks for reading!

What pick just one!? How can I do that? Everything is so nice and has it's own "freshness" to it. I love the tin of course but since I have a love of vellum and have been wanting to play with it but haven't lately I will pick the beautiful poppies as my first choice. Now you've truly inspired me to go find my vellum.

As usual all of your projects are awesome.  If I have to pick a favorite I'd say it would be Frugal Finds.  With our PC crashing two weeks ago I've missed so many challenges.  Now that we're back online with the new PC I need to play catch up!Teresa
