Impression Obsession has some brand spankin' new stamps being released at CHA next weekend and luckily we get to start posting with them today - yea!!! I've actually been making tons of projects were their new stamps over the past few days and have the posts ready to go when I'm at CHA in about 8 days (can't wait). The first card was made with some scraps left over from Scenic Route and October Afternoon. I colored the image with pink and green copics and added the sentiment in a heart die cut. The final touch was the green dotted graingrain ribbon - which is my favorite part! It was that added extra touch that the card needed.
The next card was colored a few days ago and has been sitting there until inspiration hit today! I paired it with some of the Sonoma paper from Scenic Route because it was such a great match. I almost burned myself out on these colors at Xmas, but I think they'll still work for Valentines Day - what do you think? The flower heart was cut out and popped up on a piece of kraft cardstock. I then trimmed down the sentiment and adhered it to the inside of the heart with dimensionals.
I used the same ribbon/button/brad embellishment that I've used on my past 3 posts.... but when something is working for you, you just have to keep doing it - ykwim? I love the way this grouping looks! I also got to use my brand new Treading Water punch from Fiskars for this project... I've wanted this punch for awhile and haven't pulled the trigger yet. That $30.00 gift card to Joann's from my MIL helped me do it today and luckily it was also on sale.
Thanks for looking and please let me know what you think! I'll also direct you over to the other Impression Obsession DT blogs for more gorgeous eye candy. Take a peek at: Dina , Laura , Deborah , Daniela , and Kelli . Have a great day!
