This card was created for the sketch challenge on SCS today. I just broke into one of my Basic Grey Ambrosia pads today... I love these colors for Fall!!! I honestly wouldn't have put gray and orange together, but it really works.
The image is from American Art Stamp and was colored with Copics. I added a little bit of gold stickles to the moon for some sparkle. The ribbon is SU Basic Grey taffeta. I didn't know I had this spool - it was buried deep on my ribbon rack and must have been there for the past year without me touching it. It's a great match for this paper.
We just got more Basic Grey pads in stock on the website including the brand new Wassail line. PLUS we have some gorgeous... and I mean GORGEOUS paper from Scenic Route. The Garland Christmas line was just released this week, so you'll be the first to get your hands on this awesome paper (and stamps too).

WOW! This is so cute! I wouldn't have thought to put grey with orange either, but Basic Grey makes it look great!

I think your card is great but completely out of my comfort zone. When creating cards I feel like I get stuck and using grey with these other colors would be difficult for me. Your card is beautifully done and gives me loads of inspiration to step outside of the box. Thanks for sharing!

Those bright colors really make the gray work well. I would not have thought to use that combination.

The colors are simply amazing together. Soft and subtle. I really like the way you tied the ribbon, such a small detail but it really guides me eyes to all the wonderful aspects on the card.
