We're Not Scared!!

I love the name of this set!! The little owls are sooooo cute with this scarecrow!! This new set from MFTstamps.com has a fun little scarecrow, 2 sizes of owls to perch on his shoulder or hat, plus corn stalks to decorate your own field! The first card was stamped on vanilla cardstock and colored with copics. The edges were torn, then inked, then distressed to give it a nice curled edge. I added flowers from Petaloo (I think MFT sold out of them though) to the background. The distressed image was then adhered to a mat of inked kraft cardstock then sewn on a kraft card base.
The second card was made for today's SCS monochromatic color challenge. I used shades of green for my scarecrow, then added black swirling clouds with Basic Grey rub ons. The background was run through an inked cuttlebug folder (distressed stripes) - I love that technique!

These stamps will be released on Wednesday 9/3 during the cocktail party in the MFT forum on SCS. Stop by and join the fun and play the challenge to be the next MFT guest designer!
