Once I Get Started I Can't Stop!

I love making Halloween cards.... so now that I started making them for the MFT release I'm having a hard time moving on to something else!!

I gotta tell you about these new SETS from American Art Stamp... yes SETS!! I am a huge fan of sets. There is something about having images and sentiments that are packaged together that just appeals to me. American Art Stamp has had wonderful individual wood mounted stamps for years... and now they are offering these same great images in unmounted sets. Most are made up of 2 images plus 2-3 sentiments and are available for $18.00. How cool is that??

This coffin card was made with a combination of Halloween 1 and Halloween 2. I love the "stick" images especially on the Halloween stamps - don't they remind you of Nightmare Before Christmas? That is one of my favorite movies! I colored this guy with a combinaiton of copics and prismas then did lots of sponging along the edges.

The card base is from that same kit as the coffin box. There were 4 cards included with the kit to make a book - I liked them better as cards. I'm not sure if Kim from MFT is going to carry the coffin box sets.... but if not I'll see if I can order some. If you are interested in a coffin box and card kit leave me a comment here... and I'll let you know were they'll be available.

Thanks for reading!

Wow - I love this card, Michelle. Reminded me of Nightmare before Christmas too. Like a cross between Jack Skellington and The Mayor. Great stamps and great colours. Thanks for sharing. Julie M
