My daughters LOVE t-shirts. They have dozens with all different sayings and images on them... all expressing their own individual style. This new Gina Set set by Melanie is the inspired me to show off some of my favorite things in t-shirt style!
The first shirt was stamped on spring green PTI cardstock and shaded with a copic marker. I stamped "U ROCK" on the front of it and highlighted it with Spica glitter pen.
I embossed this skull from a package of Tim Holtz (did you see the picture?) Grungeboard. Yes, I've been addicted to gold ep the last few days.... I think I finished off about half a jar! the skull was popped up on dimensionals and the t-shirt is attached with a clothespin. Love these mini clothespins!!
The card was made with a mat sheet of DCWV Rockstar paper. I embossed "You're my Hero" along the side and added a few more embellishments that I bought while in Chicago at a fantastic store called Stampology (such a cool funky store with wonderful people working there... I was sooooo impressed).
This card expresses quite a bit about me.... I LOVE music and I'm a HUGE... yes HUGE fan of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. For our "Family time" we hook up Rock band and my husband plays Bass, my oldest dd plays guitar, my youngest dd sings and I play drums. We can sit there playing for hours, laughing and singing and just being silly. It's really a great way to get the whole family together and have some fun! When I first saw this sentiment on the Gina K Father's Day Kindered Spirit set I knew I wanted to make a guitar hero card... finally done!!
The second card expresses my love of cooking... okay I'm definitely NOT a domestic goddess!!! But I do enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. I stamped the tee on dotted paper from My Minds Eye (CHA Swag) and used the reverse for the plaid layer on the card.
The jars, spoon, measuring cup and pot holder are all stickers from Michaels. I bought them 2 years ago and still haven't used up the package - finally a use for them!! I attached them to cardstock, then trimmed them out and popped them up on dimensionals.
The new sets will be on sale TONIGHT!! Don't forget to check out Gina's blog for a chance to WIN this set and for more details on the release.

Awesome job on the gold ep lately! I have to admit - I only use ep under duress - perhaps I should get some out!
I'm loving these cards! The Tees are too cute! I might NEED this set!
Boy, we could be talking about the same families here!!! Here's a link to a card I did based on my daughter mimicing me playing guitar hero. We are all in to the rock band and guitar hero (love the new aerosmith!)http://basementstamper.blogspot.com/2008/05/bloggers-challenge.html
Great card, I love the colors you used, it all stands out so well with the gold ep. Can't wait to see the full Tees set!

Oh my gosh -- these are so much fun! I can't wait to get this set!
Great cards! I like how you incorporated stickers onto the circle card. I stopped buying stickers a while ago because I never seem to use them. Thanks for inspiring me to incorporate some onto cards. Wow, a drummer chick, lol! I should have taken classes with my son because ever since I was a teen, I thought it would be cool to learn how to play them, lol!
