Kim at My Favorite Things is carrying these really cool pearly watercolor paint sets in her store. I think they may be out of stock right now, but I'm sure she'll have them back in shortly. They are so cool! I'm sure most of you know how much I love using Pearl Ex on my cards for a little extra bling, the only problem with Pearl Ex is you need a binder to get it to stick to the paper (I usually use Future brand floor wax). These handy watercolor palletes come ready to use and look just like Pearl Ex.... they are awesome!I was playing around with the dotted stamp from the new Congratulations all around set and colored in the petals. It looked alot like peacock feathers to me, so I cut it apart and layered them to see the effect. Luckily I just received the Cocktails Anyone? set from Jacksonbelle Embellishments, so I stamped the chicken on green cardstock then painted him with green & turquoise. Love the way it came out!
I added some Darice rhinestones to one layer of feathers, then mounted him on vanilla cardstock and doodled the edges. The background paper I used is from K&Company's Urban Rhapsody line - the rub on sentiment is as well.
