For The Birds

I found these little wooden clipboards at AC Moore - 3 for a Dollar!! They measure 3" x 2" and have a little ball chain key holder. I covered the front with an image from Crafty Secrets image booklets. It was glued down with mono mulit then the edges were sanded. I added a little dotted organdy ribbon to the clip, and a stamped "Little Note". I have no idea what to do with these little clipboards, but they are soooooo cute!

The second project was made with a postcard frame from Ikea. I covered it with paper from K&Company Wild Saffron paper, then sanded the edges. I drew the tree top and trunk on dp scraps with a black marker, then cut them out and adhered them to the side of the frame. The sentiment is made with sticker, and the flourishes are rub ons. The glass part of the frame is clear, so you just see the sentiment and rub ons. It has a little stand on the bottom so it'll sit upright.

I just bought this littl owl stamp on Saturday. I took a training class to become a certified fiskars demonstrator (A Fiskateer), and during the class (at a LSS) I sat across from a rack that held these adorable Sasafrass Lass stamps.... this one is from Oliver & Friends. After looking at them for 4 hours I had to bu them. They are soooooo cute!

Thank you everyone who posted the wonderful comments about my Birthday Card... Wil was really thrilled to listen to all the comments I read out loud him. His birthday is in a few days and I'm kinda tempted to make him a card with stuff from his workshop just like he did for me... what do you think? Should I give it a try???

One last thing... I posted a challenge on my forum at Embellish Onlne - The challenge is a One Sheet Wonder that Jen70 posted on SCS during Labor Day a couple of years ago:

Use 1 sheet of designer paper (you must use it all) to create anywhere from 4-12 projects. At least 2 items must be non-card projects and at least 2 items must be cards (any size).

Stamp sets - Limit 2 sets or 1 set and 1 BG + you may add a sentiment not included in your choice of sets

Designer paper - 1 sheet - use it all

CS - any

Ink - any

Embellishments - any

I'm gonna be giving away my project and all the goodies it contains to the randomly choosen winner. To participate and have your project entered to win you'll need to post a link to your project in the forum HERE. To be entered to win you'll need to have your submission posted by 3/11/08 - I'll be announcing the winner on 3/12.

This was one of my favorite Limited Supply challenges - I love how the projects turn out... so coordinated and put together! Search through the LSC thread for this challenge for some inspiration. Thanks for playing along!
