Pocket Accordian Card

I've had a few people email me about rating my blog E for Excellent - THANK YOU!! I'll have to go come up with my list of blogs that I rate "E"!

When I was awake at 3am and realizing that the DD cup of decaf coffee I drank on my way home from work was definately NOT decaf I was thinking about a pocket accordian card project. I got a scor-pal a few weeks ago and have used it for some basic projects, but haven't really come up with anything new. I've made lots of accordian cards.... but what about ones with pockets? So once I finally got going this morning I whipped up this buggy card.

The card has a total of 4 pockets (1 large 2 medium 1 small). I made inserts for ech of the pockets and used the Bugs & Kisses stamp set to make lots of bugs for embellishment. I also cut some faux greass for the bottom of the card to hide the worms and catapillers. All the flowers are stickers from SAndy Lion.

I threaded a ribbon around the card and sandwiched it between the last layer of the accordian and the base layer of kraft, so you can tie the front together. Overall the card measures 4.25" x 5.5".

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think.

Michelle, these are just the cutest! I just love that you incorporated pockets that look like grass for the bugs to be crawling on. So clever!

I love your bug card (and many others), I love to see what you make each day. Do you have a template for this card? My grandson loves bugs and would love to receive a card like this.

God bless and thank you!
