Green Tea Bath Set

I found these little bottles of green tea scented bath wash, lotion, salts & bublle bath marked down a Kohls over the weekend. Since I was on a roll making gifts for my dd's friends I thought I'd make up a couple extras to have around just in case a birthday pops up and I'm not ready for it!

This set was inspired by the new Papertreyink colors released last week. I have to confess.... I completed caved in and bought 1 pack of each of the new cardstock colors, both new inks, some ribbon and the patterned paper pack. I gotta RAVE.... this stuff is absolutely fantastic. The cardstock is nice & heavy plus the 2 new colors are gorgeous. I used the twill tape on this project and it is so silky feeling plus nice and easy to tie in a bow - plus the price is pretty good at $3.00 for 5 yards. I used the new spring green color on this project for the tag and image matting. It's a different color green than anything in the SU line... a little more olive than celery, yet lighter than olive - totally yummy though!

The box was made with 4x4 coasters that were covered with Basic Grey Periphery paper that was left over from the altered clipboard project. The main image is from My Favorite Things - it's kinda their signature stamp set - and perfect for projects like this! I added some little drops of stickles to the bubbles to give'em some sparkle.

I get alot of questions in the comment fields here and most of the time I completely forget to answer them when I post again. With this in mind I just started up my own forum on Embellish-It Scrapbooking. I'm on their design team and Barb was kind enough to offer us some personal forum space. I'm planning on using it for polls, chats and Q&A's. So if you have any questions for me please take a second and post them there and I'll make sure to keep checking it. You will have to register for a screen name on the site... but it's easy enough to do and only takes a minute. So drop by and say hi to me!

Thanks for reading!

What a great gift set! I could have used that idea about 6 months ago when I did a spa birthday party for my daughter! Jeanne
