A few weeks ago I bought a Palette Stamp & Stick ink pad... it's basically a glue pad that you can adhere glitter to. Sounds like it should be awesome, but I couldn't get it to stick!! I contacted the company to get some more information on what I might be doing wrong and ended up gettin a new pad and refill. I was so dissapointed in the original product, but the new one has really made up for it! I just love it!!! The glitter on this card is from Martha Stewart and as you can see it stuck to the glue pretty good! I'm planning on sealing future projects with Kryon spray, but for this one I'm gonna leave it alone to see how the glitter stays adhered.
I would give the new pad two thumbs up.... it worked great! If purchasing this pad I would reccomend buying the kit that has the refill with it and making sure the pad looks nice and white... my old pad was a bit yellowish making me think it was old.
The second card was made for today's sketch challenge on SCS. I used flowers from an Autumn Leaves set. They are stamped on dp, the I added glitter to with a Martha Stewart glue pen and irridescent ice glitter. I love the color combo I used for this card... wasabi, blue bayou and soft sky with coordinating designer papers. It really makes me look forward to spring!
The third card is one I actually did awhile ago and found face down on the floor behind my photo tent! I love the color combo and the striped paper for the fower. This is such a simple and quick project to make, yet it looks really funky! I added faux stitching details to the background paper with coordinating ink.
The last card was made for a color challenge, until I realized I used the wrong colors.... DUH! The flower stems are made with gold cord. I heat embossed the leaves with gold ep so they'd match. I added 1/2 a scalloped circle as a mound for the flowers to grow out of.
Which one do you like best?

I love #3! Great job Michelle!
These are all fabulous! I love the first one cause I love that set and always forget I have it!
You always want us to choose and it's just so hard. I like #2 and #3 (there, I'm not choosing just one). That striped flower is so fun and funky.
It is impossible to choose, all of them lovely!
I love the second one. Love the colors and the sketch...
those cards are amazing.
I had the same problem with the glue pad and I read on Paperfection's blog that you should stamp the image and give the glue about five minutes to set up before you put glitter on it then once you add the glitter, leave it overnight before you shake the excess off. It really did work after that. Great tip...great cards too.
Thanks for the tip about the glue pad, haven't used my yet but need to dust off this weekend. Your cards are awesome.
I can't pick I like all of them. you did a great job!!! Can you tell me where I can get this ink pad for glitter. I heard about it but didn't know where to get it.
I love the last one you posted! They are all gorgeous but I really like the colors in the last one.
Wow, they are all great. I love your attention to detail. For me, it's a tie. I like #3 & #4 equally for different reasons because of the different styles. TFS!

Gosh, it is always a tough call with your cards, because they are all so lovely. Being a lover of bold colour, your fourth card is my fav.
Oh what lovely cards! Very nice!!! Which Krylon spray do you use to seal the glitter you mentioned in the post? I need to get some! Thanks!

Definitely the #2 one best...however, all 4 of them are incredible as usual.
glad you shared about the glue pad. I have a Fleur de lis die cut that I want to glitter (MS brand). Sounds like this is a better way to go than using regular glue.
Love all of the creativies.
lpefknLove them all but #1 is striking with the green (my fav color) and gold glitter.
I bought that glue pad a few weeks ago too -- I still haven't opened it up to try it. I didn't buy it with the refill. Hope it works! As for the cards, as always, a tough decision but I like #1 the best. TFS! Jeanne
Wow. Everything you make is just wow!
They are all gorgeous. I think big news is my favorite. It's a great layout and I love that sparkle.
It's hard to only pick one...but I think it's the first one. They are all beautiful!
