Julia posted a challenge for the ways to use it challenge on Thursday to use paint on your project. I dug out some acrylic paint for these 2 projects.
The first card only uses a little bit of paint on the covered chipboard button. I love the bright colors I used for this card... very spring-like! The paper is from Stampin' Up... I found some scraps of this in my scrap folder. The petals were stamped, then I used green copics to darken the petal edges. I used the same paper to cover the chipboard button (I think it's from Cosmo Cricket).
The second card has more paint on the chipboard hearts. I sued a combo of bright red and cream to create this shade of pink, which matched the Daisy D paper pretty good.
Both cards are 5.5 x 5.5 - I've been making this size quite a bit lately. I need to order some more envelopes in this size though!! I also have a few larger 9" x 4" cards that I made to fit in the large business size envie... this gives you alot of space to decorate! What is your favorite size to make BESIDES the standard 4.25 x 5.5?

Beautiful cards, LOVE the fresh layouts and colors. Jennifer :)
Gorgeous! I love them both, but the valentine card is very sweet. I like all sizes of cards, but lately find myself making 5x5 cards.
Really pretty cards , love the bright colors on the first one !
