More Embossing....
Here are 2 cards created for todays SCS color challenge - Always Artichoke and Groovy Guava. I included heat embossing on both of these cards as well.
-
First card was done with colored pigment inks from Colorbox and Ranger Ancient Gold embossing powder in "Enchanted Gold" - it is gold with irridescent glitter mixed in - really cool stuff! I embossed the flowers, the green flourish/stem and the frame. I attached the sentiment with a couple pieces of hodgepodge hardware.
-
**** on a side note..... my brand new tin of hodgepodge hardware took a header off the table and all over the floor.... now I have a HUGE mess to clean up!***
-
The second card was made with the Country Blessings stamp set that was featured in Country Living last year. I embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder (I used chocolate chip craft ink to stamp the image). The leaves and acorns were done with Prisma Pencils.

Blog Candy Challenge!!!

I have a Matte Pack of K&Company Amy Butler paper to give away for this week's Blog Candy Challenge. I'm looking for cards made using Heat Embossing - as much as or little as you want to use! Just leave a comment with a link to your card and you'll be entered to win the Matte Pack.
-
Challenge will end next Tuesday (September 11). I hope to put the cards into a gallery for everyone to view - just to keep in mind when entering this challenge.

Thanks for reading!

These cards are beautiful, love the embossed flowers on your first card.
Your card is gorgeous!! I used heat embossing on my color challenge card, too -- here it is: http://flowersandink.blogspot.com/2007/09/color-challenge-groovy-artichokes.html. Thanks for the embossing challenge! :)
I love your cards! Will have to pull the embossing stuff out, it's been packed away for a while and I tend to think of another option because it's such a hassle to get it unpacked and set up!
Mine is at SCS in my 'adisneyfreak' www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=660909&cat=500&ppuser=118582 Thanks for the challenge!!
I saw these yesterday! They are gorgeous cards.
