Some of My Favorite Things

These cools stamps from My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) just came in the mail this morning. I knew they were waiting at the post last night, but the PO was closed by the time I got there after work... so it was driving me nuts knowing that thye were so close, but I couldn't get them!!
-
CARD #1 -GOUDA DAY
I just love this little mouse!! This card was created for today's SCS challenge (red, black, kraft paper) I didn't have craft so I used Sahara Sand. I really like how the red background just pops on this! I stamped it with brown flannel - added lots of ribbons - and a cute cheesy little charm hanging off the bow. I added the oval punch with the sentiment because it looks like a little thought bubble.
-
CARD #2 - SPRING FEVER
I used my oval punch again on this card - except I punched little holes in each of the scallops to give it a lacy looking edge. The background of the punch was colored with liquid chalk ink. I water colored the rabbits with close to cocoa, then added some white gel pen cloud doodles. I used 2 sheets from the Lily Kate Basic Grey paper pack (more on the way... yeah!!!) I added 2 eyelets to the sides of the punch and threaded a ribbon through them. The stamped chipboard along the bottom was an afterthought - not 100% sure I like it, but it's attached now and not coming off!
-
CARD #3 UDDERLY DELIGHTFUL
She's a funky little cow - and udderly delightful too! I added some Phoebe Basic Grey Paper for the background. I also stamped the main cow image on some of the Phoebe scrap to cut out for the cow's background. I watercolored the cow... let's call her Lulu... nobody wants to keep being called a cow!! So I watercolored Lulu with Close to Cocoa watercolor crayon, with some pretty pink ears too. The flower is also part of the MFT stamp set - I watercolored it, cut it out and attached it to Lulu's ear. I added some dotted organdy ribbon from Jacksonbelle's store.
-
VOTE ON YOUR FAVORITE AGAIN... Just leave a comment and let me know which one is your favorite and why. And if you like these stamps they are all available on My Favorite Things website (www.mftstamps.com) the cow and the mouse are from the Farm Friends set, and the Rabbits are from the Easter set. Kim @ MFT's is just great - plus they ship really fast!

Well, on #1, I love how the sentiment layers looks like a "thought bubble" and love the little cheese charm, but my fave is #3 ~ those colors are so rich and wonderful and love Lulu's flower!

Card #2 is my favorite!

Ohh it's getting harder & harder to pick a favourite. Today it's #3 as I love cows. Followed closely by #2, love those BG papers.

I will have to go with #2 this time. As usual they are all great, but #2 just speaks to me- the colors and patterns, everythingit is so Spring-y looking(the mouse on #1 kind of freaks me out a bit. LOL!).

I have to vote for the Spring Fever with the bunnies! It's so springy! I love the colours, and I love that scalloped oval, it looks like a cake-paper (do you know what I mean?)! And of course I love the bunnies!

I absolutely love the cow one. My kids are in 4-H and they show cows every summer with the help of their farmer grandpa. It is a special time for both parties. I will have to get this stamp set as I usually send out thank yous and she would be perfect. You make her look simply divine. Thanks for sharing.

As usual all three cards are absolutely beautiful! I think #2 is my favorite - love the colors, love the bunnies (now must have/purchase!), love the paper, love the Easter doodle - have I loved enough! ; )

I love all of them ! But my favorite is #3 -- love how you've taken 2 types of images that are seemingly incompatible and made them work together! I love it!

Card #2 - Spring Fever, is probably my favorite, although I like the cow a lot too.

Great design and choice of colors. But then, you always do good work.

I truly love all three of them, but my hands down favorite is #3. I just love that BG Phoebe paper (it's my favorite paper pack from their new releases).

These are all stunning, really. My favorite is #2. The colors are just so .....fresh and "Spring"y. You always do such a nice job with the DP. I'm a little apprehensive with mixing patterns sometimes. But I'm working on it. I'm not sure if I'm actually on a 12 step program, but the first step is AlWAYS to first cut the paper. I was a hoarder for a while but I'm breaking out and actually cutting it. WAHOO! I've completed step 1.
THanks, Chris

You make it so hard to choose! And the funny thing is: the deciding factor for me, is the one thing you're "not sure about". I choose #2, specifically because I love the green piece on the bottom. It's rich color is gorgeous, and the white highlights accent the card perfectly.

I am going to chose #2 as my favorite. I like the simplicity of it as well as the extra details (the little holes on the scalloped ovals). Thanks for sharing.

All three are great but #1 is my fave. I love the cheese charm and the way you did the ribbon. The sentiment on the scalloped thought bubble is cute!

It's so hard to pick a favorite, because they're all so great. That said, I'd have to go with #2. Love the colors and those cute bunnies.

Well, can you make the decision any more difficult?? LOL I really love them all, but I think I am still drawn to the Lilly Kate and the frolicking bunnies. Very, very pretty design.

Oh I just have to have that cow card - I love it! Ok I love all 3 but #3 is my favorite today. (your cards always speak to me - your art is so rich and fresh!)

My favorite is #3 this week, Udderly Delightful. I love that you chose a busy polka dotted ribon even though the background is busy itself. It just works!

I love them all, but #1 is my favorite. The mouse is just TOO cute!

I love #3! The colors are awesome and the cow and phrase are the best! I continue to be a groupie of your work!!

I like them all, but choose #1 for your creativity. I love the thought bubble with the scallop punch. If we've gotta have the humongous punches around, we need lots of different ways to use them. Super!

These are all so cute! I love, love, love that cow's face, but the bunny card layout is the one that I like the best.

I love the lay-out of #1, and the colors, but #2 is closer to my 'heart'. :o) TFS!

They are all awesome! The gouda one cracks me up! I absolutely love how you did the hold punch on the scalloped oval! I am going to have to try that! And the colors on that last one are great! I love the flower behind her ear too!
