Got Papertrey?

My new set from Papertrey arrived today!! I'm totally addicted to their monthly sets - stalking the website until the new ones are posted. This one is great for Spring... lots of cute and floral images and wonderful verses too.
-
CARD #1 - SO SIMPLE - This one was the quickest card to make! I stamped the flowers with so saffron ink - then used the long stem and bent in different shapes to stamp the stems, then added the leaves. The flowers are dotted with stickles, and the centers are mini screw brads from Karen Foster. I sewed the white layer to a layer of so saffron (check out Julia's Stainton's great sewing tutorial on her BLOG), then trimmed the saffron layer with the deckle edged scissors - I almost forgot about these! I punched 2 holes near the flower stems to tie the 2 sided ribbon through so it looks like it goes around the stems.
-
CARD #2 - TIE DYE 2
I did another card using the tie dye technique - I also took pictures when I made this card so I will have a visual tutorial coming soon. I stamped all the flowers with brown stazon ink, then added stickles to the flower centers. This is a one layer card.... yes hard to believe that I could actually pull that off!! I did end up trimming the single layer a little because it wasn't sitting on the card base straight. One layer is really hard for me to do!!
-
CARD #3 - SEW BASIC GREY - I used my sewing machine on this background too.... I cut strips of Scarlett's Letter pack, adhered them to a cardstock base, then sewed them together with various stitches on my machine. I added another oval punch with the holes punched in the scallops. The flowers are stamped in ruby red and old olive with mini screw brads in the centers. The flower pot was made by outlining the solid stamp with marker, then stamping on some Basic Grey scrap. I colored the chipboard with olive liquid chalk, then stamped the sentiment.

Since today is WEDNESDAY that means it's BLOG CANDY DAY!! I have a bottle of MONO Multi and a baggie full of Prima's to give away - simply leave a comment on today's card and you'll be entered to win.
Thursday 6:00 update: Holy Cow!!! This is the closest vote yet on my card trios! ONE card is ahead of the other 2 by ONE vote - the other 2 are tied..... that is with 88 comments posted! Make sure you leave a comment on which one you like the best!
