Replay Yesterday

I had so much fun reading everyone's comments yesterday and watching to see which card turned out to be the favorite and why it was choosen. I decided to do a replay today and post 3 cards and see which one everyone picks. So leave me a comment on 1, 2 or 3 and you'll receive a RAK in the mail.
Oh yeah... all cards are featuring Basic Grey's LILY KATE paper pad today!
Card #1 -FLOURISHING BLOOM - I used up some scraps to create the background for this card. The white border along the side is from Green Grass FLOURISHING stamp set (see website if interested). I embossed it with white EP directly to the BG paper. The huge flower is the sellabration Big Bloom, it's embossed with little white flourishes. I wasn't happy with this card until I added the photo anchor - I just love these things and use them everywhere!!
Card #2 - A SIMPLE FLUTTER - I wanted a quick and easy card, so I used designer paper as the background and just added one layer with a sentiment (from papertreyink.com) and a butterfly from Papertrey's Butterfly Kisses set. I'm not usually one for simple cards, but the background paper on this one is so soft and pretty I just love it!
Card#3 - RETAIL THERAPY GIFT CARD HOLDER - Yes... another gift card holder. This image is the perfect size to make this type of card... and what better use for this set?? The stamps are from My Favorite Things - I watercolored the image with watercolor crayons I found these tiny little clothespins at Michaels... they are the cutest little things!
VOTE for your favorite by leaving a comment with 1, 2 or 3 - and let me know why you like it the best. I will send out a RAK to someone that leaves a comment. Don't forget yesterdays BLOG CANDY... if you haven't left a comment you'll miss out!

Once again, they are all beautiful and it was hard to choose. I choose #1 as my favorite though - I love the big flower and the way it is offset on the card - plus green is one of my favorite colors.

Again I like them all but I think #3 is my favorite because I am always looking for a gift card holder.

I like #1 the most, as well. It has the most interesting varieties of texture and the flower, flourishes, and photo turn keep your eye moving around the card. Thanks for sharing all of them!

I LOVE the big flower, but my fav today is the pretty, simple, delicate butterfly. It sets off the gorgeous Lily Kate paper perfectly! Lovely. :)

Again I love them all but I'd have to say #3 is my favorite, I love that you can put a gift card in there also!

Totally love all of them, but if I had to choose one, it would have to be #1. Love the way you use those photo anchors!! Totally awesome!

I like the second one best. I'm feeling drawn to the simple today.

Three more beautiful cards. Your making it really tough for us to chose a favorite. This time I'm going to say that #3 is my favorite. There is just something about the design, colors and of course I love the image. I love the use of the photo anchor in #1. It really sets it off.

It has to be #2 for me. I'm loving that butterfly stamp a lot.

#2 is my favorite, I just love the Butterfly Kisses stamp set!
However, they all are fantastic as usual!

Number 1 for sure! The others are great, but I love the colors in #1

I gueeeeeess, #2. With springtime, I've been more in the mood lately for these simpler, cleaner types of cards. This one is so soft and pretty.

My favorite is #1. I like the use of the different papers and how they make a beautiful collage effect. Your cards inspire me to 'think outside the box' when creating mine. TFS

I like #3. I think it is great the way the gift card holder and stamp set match so perfectly!!!

Alicia said...

Simple Flutter is my favorite but as usual you are so awesome in your card making skills they are all GREAT! i like the colors and the way you bent the butterfly instead of leaving it flat.

Allison Rankin said...

My fav is #2...I am seriously thinking of getting that set now that it will be available again!

I just LOVE retail therapy (#3)...but while I was pondering this decision, I was totally enthralled with all the amazing masterpieces you have displayed in your slide show! In fact, I was so into it, that I forgot to make lunch for my guys!! Have a great day! Brenda

I love#3 because it reminds me of shopping with my 5 sisters. We can only get together once a year and sometimes twice if I get to go back home, but we have a blast shopping. It is such an adorable card and perfect as a gift card holder.

Anonymous said...

Why do you have to make it so hard?!?!? All three card are really beautiful. I am looking for a birthday card to make and am definitely going to 'case' #2. But my favorite has to be #1 because I'm a green person and this is a card even a guy would like. And I'm really into a flourish phase right now.

Anonymous said...

#2..simple, clean, classy, love it!!

Anonymous said...

I would have to say #2...simple but elegant!! TFS :o)

I like #2 the best...the colors, the simple style, the ribbon, the cuter than cute butterfly...makes me think I could actually make something similar! ;)

Anonymous said...

I love them all, but I have to say that #2 is my fav. I just love the new butterfly set.

Yosha said...

Today it's a toss up between 1 & 2. I love the colours in both. I really like the layers in 1 and such a great way to add the big flower!

But I really like the clean look of #2, but I am not a huge fan of butterfies (the stamped kind!)

So I am going with 1!

Oh Wow!!! They are all so great. Hmmm ... I guess my fave would be #3. I love the shopping girls and the fact that it holds a gift card has me sold!

Number 1 for sure is my favorite. I like non-traditional LOs and that one just pulled me in. The off-centering of the flower is what did it, and the colors too. Although I like the colors in #2 also. Plus, my eyes just kept moving to see all the layers and patterns and textures on number 1!

Thanks for making this fun (and HARD too)!

Anonymous said...

Today my favorite is #1. I love green and the use of the big flower. It makes my eye keep searching for all the details. Love it...thanks for sharing!

All are great cards - but I love #1 the most! I love the greens and your use of flourishes. And that photo anchor again - I love it- you are the queen of photo anchors :)

Anonymous said...

#1 is my favorite because of the boldness of the card. It's beautiful. (Really, they all are, but #1 is my favorite.)

Anonymous said...

All three are beautiful, but I am voting for number 2. I think it is because it is simple yet elegant and the colors aren't what I would normally reach for. I have been trying to step out of my routine of reaching for the same colors...so that is the one that really speaks to me.

Bonnie Weiss said...

Love the bold flower and bold colours in #1. Anyone receiving either of the other two cards would be very lucky too!

Sandi'sStuff said...

Gotta love number three! That stamp is fun, fun, fun!

Anonymous said...

That's the thing about looking at art (even card art!) each person sees different things in each piece and you never know what is gonna strike a cord with people. Keep creating what you love.
That said, I really like card #1- Each of the elements you've used can stand on their own, but you have brought them together perfectly! The ribbon tied on the photo anchor really sends this one to the top in my book.
So, is the RAK gonna be any one of these fabulous cards of yours? There's nothing quite like being able to touch a feel a great card :) Adelle

I love card #2. The butterfly image is perfect on the background paper, which is very subtle and beautiful.
But card #1 runs a close second!
