I just counted up the votes from yesterdays post, and WATERCOLORING won!! Conveniently this was my focus at tonights SU workshop. This is the example for our project tonight.

First I had everyone stamp their designs with black or brown stazon on watercolor paper. Everyone actually choose brown ink (I'm rubbing off on them... I hardly ever use black!). We used the watercolor crayons in earth elements, and blended the colors with blender pens. I really love the vivid colors in this watercolor set... I really thought I didn't need these crayons.... but what did I know??? They blend so smoothly, and you don't get the unblended line that pencils sometimes leave. They are an absolute MUST HAVE!!

I really tried to float the color around the whole image, so it was completely covered - it looks a little messy in the picture, but is really quite whimsical IRL. I added Stickles to all the flowers (can't see it in the picture, but just imagine lots of sparkle!!) it looks like a fairy garden! The edges are finished off with not quite navy watercolor crayon, then matted on cardstock in the same color.

I'm going away for a few days and plan on bringing some stamping supplies to get my Mom hooked on stamping. I'm gonna try to upload something every day.... but it sometimes gets hard when shopping gets in the way!

Amazing art work Michelle!! You have inspired me to stamp on plain white cardstock!! I dread it...but if it comes out 1/2 as good as your it will be a hit!
