Criss-Cross Card

This is a little different take on todays SCS Challenge - the challenge was to make a criss cross card - I made a criss-cross pocket for this one and mounted it on a 4.25"x5.5" piece of cardstock.
-
I basically used scraps for this.... some printed paper, cool carribean, chocolate chip and ruby red. I love how the chipboard turned out.... I painted it with turquoise blue acrylic paint, then sanded and sponged with brown ink - it has a really distressed, vintage look to it! The inside card is layered with cut-outs from the designer paper along the top and bottom, with a blank space in the middle for greeting. The little tab at the top was done with the tab punch from the spring mini.
-
This one isn't up to my usual creativity, but after a weekend away I'm feeling a little tired tonight!!
-
You pick the CHALLENGE....
Help me decide what to focus on for the next week or so.
1. "Watercolor my World" - a whole week of watercolored creations.
2. "Don't Card Me" - no cards this week, only other "stuff"
3. "Jewelry Junk" - I have to dig into my jewelry and beading stash for something on every project
4. "Flower Free" - a week on not touching a flower stamp.... can I actually do it?!?!?
-
Leave one of these choices in your comment and we'll see what I work on!

Michelle, this is a beautiful card. I love the way the red just pops with these other colors. I vote for Watercolor my World too - although I'd love to see you try a week without flowers! ;)

I'm a new subscriber, but I'd love to get some ideas for masculine-type cards, so my vote is for no flowers.

This card is another stunning creation. You sounded displeased with it, but I can tell ya, it's right up there as being one of your best. But then again, they are all great! You truly rock! I'm not voting this week. I love whatever you do!

I would vote no flowers. Seems like I create most with flowers.

If you do water coloring, I hope you will share the technique tips.
