Flower Pocket & Comment Winner

The lucky winner this week is Lori Faeber - Congratulations Lori!! I'll be mailing one of my projects out to you in the next couple of days. All Lori had to do was leave a comment to enter to win... how simple was that?!?
-
Todays card continues with the chipboard challenge. The big blossom on the outside of the pocket is a piece of Stampin' Up chipboard covered with the pinkish paper from Basic Grey's Sublime 6x6 pad.
-
To make this cute little pocket card I cut a piece of olive cardstock to measure 3 3/8" x 8.5". I then score at 2.5" and fold to form pocket. I secured the pocket with eyelets, which I ran ribbon through. I then cut the insert to fit inside. I adhered the pocket to a slightly larger size piece of olive carstock so I have a nice clean back.
-
The little flowers are from the Springtime Stems set - it's a level 1 hostess set from SU. I put a bit of glitter in the centers. The vase at the bottom is just a piece of scrap paper from my cutting and stamped with Happy Joyful Birthday.
-
AND NOW I NEED YOUR OPINION!
Since tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day of my Chipboard Challenge.... I need a new challenge for next week. Pick which one you'd like to see on all next week's projects.
----------------------
1. Pearl Ex Powder
----------------------
2. Cuttlebug Embossing Folders
----------------------
3. Purple Cardstock (I don't use this color very often)
----------------------
4. Heat Embossing
----------------------
Just leave your vote in a comment and one with the most will be my Blog challenge for next week!

I love this flower pocket card. I'm not really a huge green fan but I really like the Basic Grey sublime. Thanks for sharing.

As for next weeks challenge, I vote for Pearlex or Purple cardstock. I love purple. LOL

Hi Michelle! Great card. I think I vote for the color purple--you could make purple rock, girl! I'd love to see what you'd create with all different shades of purple! By the way, I just wanted to let you know that I haven't gotten your card in the mail yet...I'm so worried it's gotten lost.....maybe it will be here tomorrow. I'll be sure and let you know when I do get it, ok? Thanks!

I'm going to vote for Cuttlebug (I'm the only one so far!) because I'm always looking for new ideas with these awesome folders. My second choice would be the color purple - that would be a fun one!
I love this pocket card - the size is unusual and the Basic Grey paper is pretty much SWEET! Thanks so much for sharing your talent.

Great pocket card ... as always your designs are fabulous. For the challenge I am having a hard time deciding. I love my new cuttlebug and would love to see ideas but I too don't use purple and could be so inspired to change my habits. However ... I'm going to pick Pearlex because I don't have a clue about it and would love to learn. I have some that a friend gave me and there it sets on my shelf unused.

GM! Congrats Lori Faeber! I vote for PURPLE...that color is so in style right now, fashion wise, but its a hard color to work with and i would be very interested to see your take on it. i not only love to see your art, Michelle, but i LOVE your color combo's which can be used in my everyday life, decorating, fashion...thanks for sharing!

I would like to see a Cuttlebug challenge-- I've seen some Cuttlebug examples, but just seem to make plain, old backgrounds with mine-- I need INSPIRATION!!!

I'm surprised not more Cuttlebug voters, but I agree with the others. I'd like to see Pearl Ex cards - am not 100% sure what this is. I am ordering all supplies (no stamps) on my next order - maybe I'll include some of this powder!
Thanks~

This card rocks! I love your unique color choices.

I am picking Pearl-Ex. I've had that stuff sitting in my drawer forever. I did see a card using Future Floor Wax and Pearl Ex and boy was it striking! I've been meaning to give that a try sometime.
