For the above card I paired the whitewash cardstock with black and basic grey's periphery 6x6 paper. I added flowers from the retired Roses in Winter set and stamped the blackgroun foliage on frosted acetate from Shortcuts. Shortcuts has great clear and frosted acetate for cards plus is fingerprint resistant.... how cool is that?
I used both sides of the core'dinations cardstock for this card and paired it with white. The flowers are from Flourishes.... the Poppy set is one of my favorite all time sets! I colored the poppies blue (yes there are blue poppies) and added lots of adhesive rhinestones to the card.
Thanks for looking.... take a second and let me know which one is your favorite.

Wow - beautiful cards, Michelle. You're certainly back in stamping form!!! I particularly love the first one, black + white can sometimes be very harsh, but this card is so soft and lovely.
Julie.
WOW!!! I'm usually a quick "scan and move on" blog reader, but I HAD To stop and take a second look at these...Absolutely STUNNING!! I especially love all the dimension and detail in the first one, but the colouring in the second one is phenomenal. WOW!
Oh wow, look at those! Amazing.
LOVE the flower on the first card that you made:D
I adore the blue one! Though...both are fantastic!
These are simply gorgeous, Michelle! Honestly I can't favor one over the other, though the blue tulips overlapping the oval mat is inspiring me hugely. LOL
Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Your cards are just stunning and you sure made the Core'dinations cardstock shine.
Gorgeous cards! I also love the black and white, but the soft blue is absolutely stunning! Wonderful use of texture!
These are really beautiful cards!
Michelle, these are wonderful cards!
I really like your work which is given in your site. Thanks for the post and share your work with us. I like the black and white combination in to the first one.
