Sweet Peas, Peacocks and a Challenge Winner!

First off I want to announce the challenge winner from the Altered Notebook challenge posted about a week and a half ago. The randomly choosen number was #4:

by Jessi

You need to take a peek at the amazing binding she created with beads and wire.... I'm gonna have to try that! Jessi is going to win a prize pack from Paper Addiction. I'm not totally sure what's gonna be in the pack, but I'm sure Laura will put something fabulous together. Since I mentioned Paper Addiciton I need to mention that we are having a STOREWIDE SALE - everything is at least 20% off and the "Clear It Out" category is 40% off!

The first card was made for color challenge CC211 on Splitcoast. I used a brand new stamp set that just arrived yesterday from Flourishes. The image was colored with copic markers in shades of pink, peach and olive.

QUESTION: Would you like me to include the Copic Color #'s in my posts so you know which markers were combined for the shading effects? Let me know in a comment!

Supplies Used:
Sweet Peas - Flourishes
Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides & Vintage Cream Carstock - Papertreyink
Porcelain Basic Grey 6x6 Pad - Paperaddiction
Effervescense Border Punch - Fiskars

I really like how the second card turned out. I usually don't leave this much open space... but wanted something clean and simple looking! I've been eyeing this peacock image from Flourishes since it was released and I finally caved in and ordered it. To make the card I stamped and cut out the peacock, then lightly watercolored it with ink in Sage Shadow, Old Olive and Pink. I added dazzling diamond glitter with a fine point glue pen to the feathers and the edges of the sentiment scallop.

The rhinestones were a find from Joann's around Xmas time. Packages of 5 containers of flat backed rhinestones for $1... I picked them up in ever color!! I usually attach my rhinestones with a dap of glossy accents from Ranger. It has enough "stick" to keep them in place and it's easy to get the adhesive in just the right spot without a big mess.

Supplies:
Strut Your Stuff Stamp Set - Flourishes
Glossy Accents (adhesive for rhinestones) - Paperaddiction
Glitter and ink - Stampin Up
Birds & Swirls Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug
Vintage Cream & Ocean Tides Cardstock - Papertreyink

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think of these 2 cards and your answer to the Copic color question. Have a great day!

I think your cards look amazing. I think it's hard for me to ask you to list your copic markers that you use when I don't. Although sometimes I like to know for certain things that people color that I have a hard time with what they have used. Clear as mud? Gotta love my double standard ;)

Your cards are beautiful - as always! I would like the copic colors listed, I think it would be helpful even tho I don't have an enormous amount of copics. I only have about 20 of the markers but I hope to add to my stash a little at a time.

I always love your work!
I would love to have the copic info. I'm new to them and only have a few! 70 of them I think.
It would help me know what ones I need to buy to get the look I'm after!

Your cards are totally delightful. I would like to know which copic colours you use as I am just about to purchase some for the very first time and it would be helpful to see the range of light to dark shades that you use.

Beautiful cards, as always. To answer your question, YES, I'd love to know the colors you have used. For those of us who don't have "the eye" that you have for colors, it's extremely helpful. Again, love your cards!
