Twice a month the Impression Obsession design team works on a challenge - this time around it is to use the colors Pink & Orange! I'm all into orange lately... but adding pink to it was a challenge for me!
For the first card I used the cupcake set for the main image and sentiment - cupcakes look great in pink!! I paired this up with some paper from K&company's Que Sera Sera 8x8 pad that I just bought last week - the stripes were perfectly festive for this type of card. I added black and white to the cupcake wrappers and black & white gel pen accents to the card to pull it together.
The second card features a brand new stamp from Impression Obsession featuring a garden cake on a stand (love these stamps... they are sooooo much fun!). I used more of my new paper from Making Memories Chloe's Closet and also embellishements from the matching button/flower pack. I added rhinestones to the top of the cake.
I realized the other day when I was actually organizing all my cards and putting them all in labelled boxes that I didn't have enough Birthday Cards. This is the most popular occasion for cards - isn't it? So I'm on a quest to make more birthday cards in the next few week so I have a whole box full of just this type.
Wanna check out more of the Impression Obsession team to see what orange & pink creations they came up with??

Thanks so much for looking! Let me know what you think of the pink and orange combo... and also the Impression Obsession stamps. One other question... do you make many birthday cards or do you also get caught up in everthing else and forget about the birthdays? Just curious!?!
