You Warm My Heart

I started today's project by making a mini treat box out of the new paper I just got in from Basic Grey called Mousse. We're selling it in packs of 2 sheets of each of the 4 patterns that I picked out in the store for 15% off... I just peeked at the inventory and it's almost sold out!!! We still have some of the 6x6 pads in stock - but I guess I better order more of the 12x12 paper!

I made the box and punched holes in the front flap, then maked the holes on the box front so they'd match up and punched. The pink dotted organdy ribbon was threaded through the holes and tied in a bow.

I used the seed packet Spellbinders die to cut this mini pocket(measures 2x3) that fits perfectly in the mini candy box. The card inside features a small portion of the main image. I paper pieced the coat and colored the image with copics.

The larger card is a simple layout that really showcases the pretty paper. I colored the sky with pink copics - I just love pink skies!!! I will be doing a class at my local scrapbook store featuring these three projects.... so if you're in the Syracuse area and are interested in attending the scheule should be up on the website in a few days.

Let me know what you think!

Oh so cute! I'm so glad I saw your post....I have been looking EVERYWHERE online for that BG Wassail. So far, I haven't found anyone who had it in stock until I went to your website. It's also the best price I've seen, so I thought while I was at it, I'd get the Bittersweet paper pad, too! (and a few other things...LOL!)
