I usually end up going out with my brother & SIL and a bunch of friends for New Years Eve, but this year we decided to stay home and let our 15 year old have a party! The picture below is Sierra in her sparkling dress.... the theme of the party was SPARKLES - so everyone had to wear something glittery or they were decorated at the door - lol!!!We ended up with 30 kids at the party and I gotta say they were all fantastic. No problems at all.... no spilled drinks, nothing broken and they all had fun! On the menu.... Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets (the HIT of the party) with 4 different dipping sauces, cheese/crackers, pigs in a blanket, lots of cookies, chocolate fondue with marshmallows and crushed graham crackers, and sparkling cider at midnight.
We made room for a dance floor complete with sparkling stars, blacklights and a disco ball, but the kids were having so much fun playing Rock Band from about 7:30 until 11:00 that they really didn't end up doing much dancing. It was pretty funny listening to them all rotate through the band instruments though!
Almost all the girls ended up with new dresses for the party and even the boys found a way to decorate themselves for the occasion. I had the glitter out of the table about an hour before the party so my dd's boyfriend could decorate his tie!! I gotta say he did a great job!
I just wanted to share our fun night with everyone.... since I've been such a lazy stamper lately!!!

Looks like a lot of fun. I am always trying to talk my DD into having parties. It is so much fun to listen to all the laughing.
Okay, you win mom of the year!! My 16- and 15-year-olds went to friends' houses while we stayed home with our two little ones. They would have loved a party like yours! It looks like everyone had a great time! :)
