Pink and brown or pink with black are my favs right now too. I hopped over the the American Art Stamp site and loved their Easter stamps especially Bunny with Hat and the Chick with Butterfly. Thanks for the blog candy offer."

So Darlene, please email me at michelle@paperaddiction.com with your mailing address and I'll send out your 2 AAS stamps and Colorbox ink. Thank you to everyone who participated. I'm planning on tallying up the votes and posting the outcome. I hope you had fun browsing through the American Art Stamp site!

This card was created for the sketch challenge on SCS. I used another one of my new stamp sets from Impression Obsession called "Cupcakes" I colored them with copic markers (of course... I hardly use anything else these days!) and matted them on caramel and chocolate cardstock. I also used bits of Bittersweet scraps for the background panels.

Since I'm declaring it to be cupcake day I figured the sentiment would look good on a scroll... to make it "official" of course! I stamped the sentiment on cardstock, distressed the edges with a Tonic edge distressor - sponged it with a sponge dauber then tightly rolled the ends up in a spiral. I inserted a piece of bamboo skewer through the top section. The scroll is placed on a partial punched circle popped up over the main image.
I added a flower from Petaloo which was folded in half for the top embellishment. The button and glazed brad are from Basic Grey "Bittersweet". While we are currently sold out on the Bittersweet collection we still have buttons and glazed brads in stock from Offbeat and Urban Prarie. I admit I thought the brads were kinda cute, but wasn't totally sold on them. Until I started using them that is.... they are soooo pretty! I really love to combine them with buttons and the prongs on the brads are small enough so you can do this easily. I think they make a fantastic embellishment.

Let me know what you think of my cupcake card and have a great day!

You're on a roll these days, Michelle!! I love this. Great idea to use red with brown, rather than the more usual (but still yummy!) pink 'n' brown. TFS. Julie

Another beautiful card! I like how you added the white dots to the red paper to go with the dots on the flower!

Wow! What a creative job with the sketch challenge. I love it! I love how you did the sentiment and how well the brad matches the prima.

WOW! You are soooo talented!I love the variety that you have. How long have you been stamping? I have only been stamping for a couple of months now. I have always loved the art, but tried to stay away for years, as I was a scrapper. But I just couldn't keep myself away from it anymore. I love spending time stamping. It is kind of hard for me as i work part time and go to school part time, plus 2 kids and a hubby. But whenever I can, I stamp!
