Finished Cookie Boxes

Sierra & I finished up the 20 mini boxes for Holiday cookies this afternoon while watching the snow fall. The boxes were all made with K&Company Amy Butler paper in the 12x12 pad. While it's not a holiday paper, I think the colors work well with the snowflakes, glitter and rhinestones to give the boxes a holiday feel - what do you think?

On the front of each box is a scalloped circle with a cut out snowflake decorated with stardust stickles and little blue rhinestones attached with clear glossy effects.
Since I had so much extra paper I decided to make little Merry Christmas cards to attach to the cellophane bags that the boxes will go inside. Each tag has an embellished snowflake on the front and "Merry Christmas" stamped inside.

I am planning on posting the template for this box since I've had so many email requests for it. Keep checking back for more information. In the mean time, let me know what you think of Sierra's gifts.

Wow! I love how you can take papers that I think don't fit the occasion and make them work! You do such a great job and I think these boxes are so much fun. They will love them. Happy Holidays to you !! :-)

Hi Michelle!

These are SO pretty (jumping up and down and clapping)! How can your recipients not be thrilled?!! And I think the papers are very seasonal - lots of greens and blues...

I have now begun a quest looking EVERYWHERE for a mini cookie press. Haven't succeeded yet, but I see the full sized models online (II). Thank you so much for the inspiration! My hubby is supposed to deploy relatively soon and I think it would be fun to try to make cookies to send him, though they usually arrive as crumbs...

Happy Holidays!

Hi Michelle,

I am a frequent reader of your blog from Germany and I love these boxes. Making my own homemade pralinés I am always searching for new templates of boxes. I need small boxes as it is so much work to prepare the pralinés so you can't always give 1kg of it. *lol*
I am looking forward to your template for this mini-box! Wishing you a very merry christmas and a happy new year! Thanks for inspiring me!
Best Regards
Corinna

Your little boxes are beautiful. The blues while not traditionally Christmas are perfect for snowflakes with their chilly blue shades. I am so glad you are going to post the pattern for the boxes they are perfect for small offerings. TFS Ann Lind

I love that paper! I've drooled over it in the store. I love the boxes you and your daughter made. Those cookies look the same as the ones my mom makes. She must have the same cookie press. The colors work so well together. Thanks for sharing your template. I'll have to get it soon.
