Wish Them Luck!

I'm heading down to the State X-Country Meet with my daughter and her team and just wanted to ask of all you to please send good thoughts their way Saturday morning at 9:30 Eastern time (when their race starts). Plus I'm sure a little good luck wish posted here will give Sierra a real thrill to read when she gets home!

I'm one of those totally committed parents who will drop everything to follow my kids around for their sporting events.... I even cancelled out on a Shoebox Swap tomorrow - yes STAMPING - to go watch her run! Of course it doesn't take much convincing when it includes a night away, going out to dinner tonight and a stop at the most fantastic outlet center that just so happens to be on the way down to the meet. I see a new Coach Bag in my future! Another little addiction of mine...

Thanks so much and I'll fill everyone in when I get back!

GOOD LUCK!! :)

I've always admired runners as my body is not engineered for running. I speed walk to get my heart rate up there.

Hope your daughter's team kicks some major butt! WOOT!

Good luck, Sierra! I ran XC in high school and college and my teammates were my best friends. My husband and I met in college by being on the XC team! Great memories...enjoy your state meet and run well!

Best of luck to your team and your daughter. My daughter used to be a runner when she was in high school, so I know about those trips! She is 34 now and has 4 little ones, so she is still running, just in a different way, it never stops...LOL!!!
