These are the cutest little suitcases!! When we first ordered them for the store I wasn't sure what I'd do with them... but once I got them in the mail and saw how stinkin' cute they were I was sooo excited!
I filled my little suitcase with love notes. The paper is from one sheet of the Scenic Route Sonoma Scrap Sheet, which I used the senitment strip and the green patterned strip. My original thought was to make a little card from each of the different papers on the sheet, but I liked this one so much I decided to make all 4 cards match. The flower is a discontinued Prima - I love how lacy it is!
I decorated the envelopes to match the cards and put a little scalloped oval on the center for addressing. While these are too small to be mailed, they are the perfect size for gifts. Isn't a gift tag in an envelope so much more elegant than one just stuck on a package?
The cards measure 2.25 x 3.5. They fit perfectly in the mini envelopes. When packing up the suitcase I put the envelopes in the top pocket and the cards in the main part of the suitcase. I want to find a mini pen to decorate and put in there as well.
I love these suitcases for little gifts such as jewelry. It's also a great way to give giftcards! As soon as my daughters saw them they were all over them with ooooo's and aaaaaah's. Girls just love anything mini!!
Let me know what you think of the mini suitcases and any other ideas you may have on what to put inside!
