Votive Gift Box Set

First off I need to say THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by out website and downloaded the free popcorn box template. I honestly can't believe how many "orders" for it we had and I can't wait to see some of your creations (hint-hint.... link them back here please!!!)

This project was inspired by the MFT Who's that girl challenge posted each week by my friends Laura & Toni over in the MFT Forum on Splitcoast. This week's challenge was the Going Places stamp set (or any WTG set) and eyelets.
Since my girl is going to Hawaii I decided to make her a little bon voyage gift with a tropical theme. The little box was made with Scenic Route paper and folded to hold 6 votive candles
The card was made with the MFT "Going Places" stamp set and scraps of the Scenic Route paper left over from the box.
The box uses 1 sheet of 12x12 paper and has enough scraps left over to make a coordinating card. I really like how this one happened to match up perfectly with the surf board on the front... I'd like to say I planned it that way but I'll admit that I didn't!

I designed the box to fit 6 votive candles (these are Partylite). I love how it looks with double sided paper!

BLOG CANDY ALERT!! - I have a package of 6x6 paper from Imaginsce along with some coordinating ribbons and Merry Christmas rub-ons to give away to a random comment left on this post. Take a minute and let me know what you think of this box and if you'd like to see a template of it in our store.

Thanks for reading!

UPDATE!! I just loaded the template for the votive candle box in the store HERE. Here's the deal.... we have the template along for sale for .99 - not a bad deal for the instructions on how to make this box. BUT there is a coupon code available so you can get it for FREE with any other purchase. The coupon code is "template" and it will give you .99 off your order. I know.... we'd all like it for free and I would love to give it to you for free! But it is a webstore after all and I would like to sell some cool products as well. We have more stuff on order right now which should be here shortly, and quite a few products that are almost sold out.... so all the items that have either one or two left are now 15% off. Sound good?
