I'm trying to get a jump start on my Christmas cards, and the new shipment of Imaginisce paper that arrived on Saturday is helping me out!! I made this cd/dvd holder into a Christmas card so I could send one of friends a slideshow of the kids for Christmas. This is a friend that I used to leave near before I moved last year, and we got to see eachother almost everyday, so now that we're together only a few times a year alot of stuff gets missed! I'm going to burn a slideshow of the kid's soccer games, track meets, swimming in the pool, parties, our pets... just about anything random from the past year. I used one of the new black cardstock journals/cd holders that we are carrying at Paper Addiction. This comes as a combo pack of 5 different holders - I used the slant pocket journal for this project. The front and back were covered with Cup O'Cheer paper and Jingle Baubles. I stamped a Snag 'Em "Snowy Jo" image on vanilla cardstock and colored it in with Copics. I love these little $1 stamps! The "Merry Chistmas" is a rub on - this comes in a set of 12 sayings (all the same) which makes it easy-peasy to make Christmas Cards! The pretty little snowflower will also be available shortly... Laura sold them all last weekend at a retreat!!
The inside of the card has a slanted pocket which now holds a sheet of cardstock for journaling. The opposite side has a pocket to hold a cd. You can also leave the pocket open and attach pages to the inside to make it more of a journal... the possibilites are endless.
We are sold out of some of the papers (or almost) but we'll have them in stock again on Monday (9/29). Starting on Monday (or Tuesday) we'll be running a special on the new stuff, so make sure you sign up for the newsletter so you have the coupon code! Visit Paper Addiction and click log in to set up your account. I'll also be picking a random newsletter subscriber from the list to receive some goodies... so don't miss out!
