New Ribbon Assortments!

We've been waiting for some shipments of paper to arrive and most of the have been DELAYED!!! Ugh!! Luckily we did receive a shipment of ribbon just a few days ago which I cut up and put into packs of 2 yards of different ribbons. I personally like smaller quantities of things because once I use something a few times I get tired of it and want to move on to something else. With these ribbon assortments you can use it up and it's gone!! Of course if you really love it there is always the option of ordering a whole roll of 25 yards.... enough to keep you supplied for a good long time!

The assortment shown above is called "Summer Picnic" - I love the red/white/blue theme! I designed the card below based on this assortment and used Brocade Blue, Brillian Blue and Red Riding Hood paper - doesn't it go pretty well with the assortment?

The cupcake was stamped on Brocade Blue and bleach was applied to the frosting to lighten it enough without taking away the hint of blue. I added white gel pen to highlight the swirls and red stickles for the sprinkles.

What do you think?

Thank you for this card I love the bleaching idea. I have this stamp set and now I know what I am going to do with it. And the ribbon is as yummy as the cupcake. TFS.
