Autumn In The Air!

Right now - this week - is my favorite time of year. It's the last couple weeks of summer, the air is starting to get a little cooler and the nights are getting chilly so sleeping is nice and comfortable with just a window open. The kids are getting ready to go back to school, so we're shopping for some new clothes and buying supplies. I just love it!

I've been feeling a bit Autumn-like in my card making this week as well.... what little cardmaking I've done that is! Both of these cards feature lots of brown, orange and yellow. I used some Basic Grey Archaic for the first one. Every single paper in that line has a fall like feel!
The second card is my favorite of the week. I didn't use any designer paper on it! The moon was masked with circle punch, then I sponged the background with my ink essential blending tool (I just love this thing!) with about 4 different colors of ink.

On a side note.... the blog candy winner will recieve their goodies shortly. I've been waiting for a shipment of envelopes to arrive... no use buying them when some are already on order. Also the swaps will go out this week... I've been just HORRIBLE about them this month and I sincerely apologize. I've learned that summer is NOT a good swap time and PROMISE to be more on the ball this fall. And lastly... we're still placing orders for new stuff for the store Paperaddiction.com. If you have something you've been looking for and can't find them PLEASE let either Laura or I know! You can email us via the contact link on our website. Thanks!

I'm not quite ready for fall to get here but I do love your cards! It is beginning to feel like fall is just around the corner (the evenings are getting cooler) and school has started back up. I am really looking forward to getting my "candy" in the mail....can't wait!!!

I love autumn colors and these cards are very nice. On the first card, I like the mix of texture; the ripped edges around the focal point and sentiment plus the softness of the ribbon. On the second card, I like the technique you used to make the scene.

I love your fall cards, particularly the one with the evergreen in front of the moon and the eartone colors. What did you mean when you mentioned the ink essential blending tool that you used? Whatever it is it works beautifully. Maybe I need one!!!
