Created for today's color challenge on SCS - Black, Soft Sky & Kraft. I don't have much soft sky left.... but I found this scalloped circle that I received as a door prize at a shoebox swap. Since the scallop was flat I need to make a card front, so I cut a smaller circle with my Cutterbee circle scissors, then scored a line at 1/2" with my scor-pal. The top "flap" was adhered to the card base, so now I have a nice, round circle that opens to show the inside.
The dress is from the new Gina K set called "Retro Boutique", which will be released on Friday, June 20. I paper pieced the dress with paper from Basic Grey Periphery.
I added irridescent ice to the sentiment edges and the edges of the scalloped edges. I LOVE glitter!!
If you like this set don't forget to visit Gina K's blog and enter to win it! Plus she has links to all the other great samples that have been made by the other DT girls... they are fantastic!

This rocks...I love it! Wowswers!
What a darling card! The round shape makes me think of an old 45 record and the retro feel adds to that.
