More Orange and Turquoise

I wanted to make another card using the swap challenge colors of Orange and Turquoise. I added red as my extra color.... an interesting combo! This card was made for a tag challenge on SCS, so I made a pocket card to hold my large tag.

I've been on a quest to find the perfect white and black pens to make dots and stitch lines. I really like uniball white gel pens, but would LOVE to have a marker with a rounded tip to make nice round dots. This one is an opaque marker purchased at Michaels (I'll have to go grab it to figure out the name) - it works okay, but doesn't have a nice crisp whiteness to it. I also purchased a fine tip paint pen the other day... HORRIBLE!! It just absorbs into regular cardstock - you can use it on glossy just fine, but can't see it at all on the regular stuff.

Do you have a favorite BLACK or WHITE pen to use on your projects?? Let me know!

Have you tried the Sharpie Paint pen? I think that's what it's called - I read about it on SCS. I think people have found it at Staples and maybe even Michael's ?

I so love your card and this color combo. I use the Unibal white pen (that I buy from SU!) but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. I find that black is much easier to get I use the SU! one that does the job for me.
Hope you will find what you are looking for!

great colors! I too use the uniball white. It's the only one I've found that works! I'll have to look for a Sharpie Paint pen....I've seen their silver markers before, but never white.....I'll watch your post to see what other ideas your readers come up with!

Adorable card! Love the bright colors!
For black, the Copic Multiliner pens are the best I've found. They write so smooth.
For white, Ranger has a new pen that I got to test (and keep :)) at CHA. It's called Inkssentials Opaque White. It goes on smooth and stays bright white.

How fun. LOVE those colors. I use my signo gel pen all the time but will have the ranger pen soon to try out.

I also love the sharpie white marker!

This card is great. The color comb. really works. I use Marvy Gel Escel and like it once it starts running.

I love this tag card! You can get SOuffle pens at Jo Anns. I got a set and they don't "puff up" like it says, but there is some texture to them. I really like them, and they're shiny! Makes me want to go back and embellish my challenge cards with them!

I get decent results from the Sharpie White Poster Paint Pen - Extra Fine Point. I also use the Signo Uniball from SU! but they seem to get clogged up or something on me alot.

Great card! I have not started my ATC's for the swap yet ... you are totally inspiring me though. I use the SU! white pen as it's the only one that works decently. I have heard good things about a new one coming out by Ranger but have not tried it myself. Keep us posted if you try something different and have good results.
