As I was going to post tonight I realized that it's my 200th post on here - WOW!! I'm gonna spend some time this week going back to review some of my old favorites. Do you remember any personal favorites that inspired you?
This group of cards were put together with supplies I just ordered from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I bought the new Lizzie Anne set (Far East), which was used as the background stamping on this card. I also did some white embossing on kraft cardstock. I love this look! Kraft and white go together so well... it's a nice crisp combination.
The second card was made with a odd sized scrap of kraft, so it measures roughly 4x4. I stamped the leaves on the card base - Then stamped some flowers, which I colored with copics. I added some dew drops for the flower centers. I held out for awhile on these dew drops.... but I LOVE them!! I stuck them on with liquid embossing fluid. They just glow!
The third card is made up of a bunch of scraps from my desk. The lotus flower was stamped on yellow cardstock, then painted with pearl ex and future floor wax. I mounted it on a piece of distressed basic grey paper. The background branches were stamped in brown ink, then dots of liquid embossing fluid were dotted on the berries. I matched another scrap of paper for the bottom and added a gold ribbon.
Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think of these 3 cards. Also let me know if you have any favorite posts from the past 199 that you would like me to revisit!
