You Warm My Heart

This card was created for the My Favorite Things sketch challenge posted by Kim in the MFT forum on SCS. What a tough sketch she drew up!! I must have started 2-3 cards but ended up changing the sketch 'cause I couldn't get it to work. I am pretty happy with this one though.... FINALLY!!

The main image is from the new MFT release of Baby It's Cold Outside... it'll be released on 12/5/07. My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, December 5 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. Head over to the MFT forum on www.splitcoaststampers.com to find out all the details and join us there on Wednesday night. There will be give aways, coupon codes, a challenge and sneak peeks. Find out on Wednesday how you can become a MFT Guest Designer.

I used alot of papers from K&Company for this one, I also am lovin' textured cardstock right now and bought a big pack of DCWV (Die Cuts with a View). The DCWV paper has a white core, so you can sand down the color to show some white with a nice distressed look.

The white, glittery snowflake was purchased at AC Moore (for 25 cents) and came already painted and glittered - alls I had to do was adhere it to the card! I added a little gold satin ribbon to the flake... just a bit more embellishement!!

Don't forget about my Christmas card list... leave a comment on this post and I'll pick someone at random from the comments to add to my card list! Thanks for reading.

Lovely colors, they make the card very harmonic and peaceful.

Have you ever decorated the inner side of your cards in any way? Have you added extra pages for example?

Very nice! The colors are so nice - classic and pretty. I must admit that leaving comments here sometimes makes me feel silly. Well, silly, because I always say the same thing: I love it, I adore your style, you inspire me ... etc, etc! It's all true, just a little redundant - but I hope you never tire of hearing it!

I love the old-world, rustic feeling this card has...but, then again, it's no secret that I love everything you do!! You always have the perfect touch and the right combination of everything...and the final creation is always amazing!! Happy Holidays!! Pam (4Hounds)

Another totally tops card. You can get so much on a card, but your elements don't fight. They always enhance. You are so good!! Love the subtle curved line in the background to add a little motion. Style...pure style!
