Pretty Petaloo

I made this cute little tag card using Petaloo magnetic tag card sets carried by My Favorite Things. Kim sent me this red one as a sample to decorate a few weeks ago, and I kinda forgot about it until a few days ago. This was really quick and easy to decorate... I might have spent all of 10 minutes on this one! They are very substantial little cards/tags so they have a very professional appearance when complete.

The tags are made of a heavy chipboard, and are covered with your choice of colored paper. Obviously I decorated a red one. The designer paper I used for this is from the downloadable paper packs at My Favorite Things. I printed out a few sheets of it last week and actually have quite a bit left over.

I covered the front with the stripes, then punched a scalloped circle from DCWV and sanded the edges. The smaller green paper circle is also from the downloaded pack. The inside of the tag was stamped with a big sentiment from Green Grass Stamps.

The flower on the front of the tag is from Petaloo Holiday Flower Mix. These cute little packages come with 20 flowers and 10 of the beaded centers. The centers remind me fo sugar coating.... like on gum drops!

The front of the envelope is decorated with more printed paper, and some rub-ons that I had in my stash. I put "Mom" on this 'cause I'm gonna put a gift card in it from my Mom @ Christmas. The back of the envelope has a little flap to tuck in so it's nice and secure.

Thanks for looking!

Cute, totally cute! The "stitching" adds so much but you could put a plain piece of paper out on the table and it would look beautiful to us. You have a very special talent!
