Treat Box Set

I made this treat box using the tutorial on SCS a few days ago... TREAT BOX - I didn't make mine for the holidays though... more of an any occasion thing. I used paper from Basic Grey's Infuse line for the box, and scraps for the card. The base paper is creamy caramel.

I followed Beate's instructions for most of the boxt until I got to the top... I wanted to do something different than ribbon to tie it together. I ended up pulling 2 of the sides together and fastening with a big eyelet so that part stays connected in the center. The other 2 sides brought together with some silver chain and jump rings. I attached a longer length of silver chain to form a handle. The only problem with the box like this is it really needs to be balanced to hold it by the handle... otherwise it'll tip over. At least it LOOKS kinda cool!

I'm probably gonna remake this and see if I can come up with a handle that works... if I do I'll post the instructions! Thanks for looking!

I love it, this is still on my list of things to try, when I get less busy that is.
