Cafe Container

I had an empty International Coffee tin that I knew would be perfect for this new Cafe' set from My Favorite Things.
-
I covered the container with designer paper and colored the image for the front. If I did it again I wouldn't use kraft cardstock for the main image... what was I thinking??? But since it's done I'm not taking it apart now!
-
The ribbons on top are secured through the plastic and also through a big chipboard button from Cosmo Cricket.
-
Thanks for looking - and don't forget to participate in my Blog Candy Challenge - take a look at the previous post for the details.... you need to make a box though in order to win!!! Don't forget to post the link to your box in your comment.
-
Have a great weekend everyone!

Love it. It is the most original idea I've seen in a while. I like it with the craft cardstock and all the fun colors you used.

What?!?!? You would have to use the Kraft cardstock. It has such a warm "coffee" feel to it. It looks wonderful!

YES!! I needed a good excuse to buy the new flavor Mayan Chocolate! Oh...but I don't have the stamp set. :( Well, I'm sure I have something cafe-ish that will work! I so love this--I was hoping this would be blog candy! ;)

Love the cafe box and the fact you've recycled using an old tin. I'm a new consultant for Stampin Up and always looking on the web for blogs and other ideas to satisfy the hunger of my group (haha) stop by and do a look-see of my blog and keep a keen eye out because I'll be posting some artwork soon. Take care and happy stamping and crafting always !!
