Plum Delicious!

Pale Plum received the most votes for the color of the week. I have lots of this paper because I bought a few packs for invitations to my SIL's bridal shower - and I burned myself out on it and never wanted to touch it again - LOL!
-
This card uses pale plum as the base layer and plum accents from a Dew Drop ink pad. I also used the new My Favorite Things stamp set "Hot Stuff". The tulip paper is from K&Company - yes ANOTHER project with Amy Butler designer matte pad. The scalloped oval actually began it's life as a scalloped circle, but I cut it in half and separated it with the lime green layer. I've been on a black matte kick lately and couldn't stop myself from adding it to this card... I wasn't sure if it would go, but I like it - especially with the black gingham ribbon!
-
I'll make another pale plum card tomorrow - let me know what you think of this one!

I love it!!! Of course, I love everything you do. You are so talented!!! I would not have thought to put these two colors together but they look great. I don't very often use pale plum. I may just have to break it out again.

Plum Crazy! Cute card. There's so much going on with texture and design that all works together so well. I don't know why I always opt for a variety of color, when a variety of materials and texture looks so much more sophisticated!

Huh! Who would have thunk?! Those colors are great together. Good job...but you always have such a knack to make a card flow together and look FAB!

GREAT card! Love your color combo, and splitting the scalloped punch was a great idea!

Fortunately, I just got that stamp set. :-)

Michelle, I like it! The colors are very nice together. I must admit I wouldn't have thought to use the lime green with the plum but I think it goes well with it. I also like how you used a scalloped circle to create the scalloped oval shape by cutting it in half. Ida

This card is fabulous! But then again, so are all your creations! :) The plum looks great with the lime and black, and all the details just work so well together!!

This is FABULOUS! I don't know that I would've ever thought of pairing those two colors if I hadn't seen your awesome card. :)
