Blog Candy Weekend

I haven't done a blog candy give away in a few weeks.... so it's time!
-
Leave a comment choosing which project is your favorite and you'll be entered to win a Stella Ruby Matchbook kit . I sell these on my website Creative Threads. I just received a shipment of Basic Grey paper pads and a really cool BLUSH card kit with all the supplies to make 7 cards.
-
Photo #1 - This one started out as a DD creation, but was scrapped along the way. The flower are made with clear adhesive flower stickers from Making Memories. I didn't realize they were stickers when I bought them, but once I figured it out I adhered them to Basic Grey PHOEBE paper and trimmed then to size. They are attached to wire stems and stuck in a recycled Tabasco bottle. I thought this would make a cute get well gift.
-

Card #2 was made for yesterday's SCS challenge. I embossed a piece of foil with the cuttlebug and used Green Thumb from Papertrey for the strawberries. I love these little berries!!
-
Card #3 has a cuttlebugged background and flowers from the SU You Make Me Happy set. I used lots of shades of blue for this with a pop of gable green for the stems, leaves and sentiment.
-
Let me know which one you like best and you'll be entered to win the matchbook kit.
-
I promised to post the ribbon butterfly tutorial, but I wasn't able to get to it this week. I'm going away for the weekend to attend the SCS Central NY Get Together, so I'll be back on Monday to post the tutorial. Can't wait to see everyone at the get together!!!

Alison said...

It's a difficult choice - they're all pretty cool. I love the cuttlebugged foil! But my favorite is the vase of flowers. I love the colors of the paper (and how they seem to coordinate with the jelly beans!).

Amy said...

It's one thing to go card against card but vase of flowers, candy bag topper, and card against card just isn't a fair match up. We're really supposed to pick just one? I don't think I can provide an unbiased opinion on this one on account of the jelly beans anyway. Anything with food in it automatically wins :-)

Val said...

Oh, this is a hard choice to make. They are all wonderful projects...but since we can only pick one, I would have to go with the flowers and vase idea. It's super!

Anonymous said...

As always - your cards are vivid and exciting and beautiful. But this time, hands down #1 the flowers! What a cute get well idea, or way to spruce up a room without the flowers wilting!

Julee (Vervegirl) said...

I love that first one. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, but haven't found the time. Love that it is a recycled tabasco bottle! :)
