You can find inspiration for cardmaking just about anywhere! I was flipping through a crochet magazine the other day and found this ad for a granny square scarf pattern. I loved the colors in it, and the lacy texture to the granny square reminded me of the fancy square cuttlebug folders my dh bought me for Xmas. I dug out some SU cardstock in Ballet Blue, Sahara Sand, Vintage Violet, Cranberry Crisp and Ruby Red to match the colors in the ad. I then embossed them with my cuttlebug - and heat embossed the flowers with gold EP. The "Get Better Soon" sentiment is from Green Grass Card Greetings set .
What do you think? Does the card look like the scarf?
BLOGGER CHALLENGE - My challenge to you this week is to find an ad in a magazine and use it as your card inspiration - then take a picture of your inspiration and the card and post it on your blog - or if you don't have a blog email it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll post it here - or you can also post it in your SCS gallery!
